And it starts....

We arrived at 1 am but after passing through the gates swiftly we did not get our luggages until 2:20. Yes worse than Heathrow. Then despite what it has been said is a breeze through customs and a pick up by the convenient hotel shuttle. Sleep was rubbish and a car picked up from Sixt. An Audi Q3 will be our companion for the next 16 days. And yes finally driving to Coromandel. It is the west coast today through Thames up to Coromandel Town and Shelly beach where is our Top10 campsite cabin.

Mooos everywhere (my nickname for the black cows), birds leaving dangerously by the road, and liitle coves and islands just off the coast. Quite an entry to Kiwi...

We met already 2 people in different places who said they came for holiday and they stayed. Don't get your hopes up as yet people! The 2nd was from near the village of Ann, up North living now at the Bay of Islands that we have no time to visit this time but looks definitely a great place.
