The colourful sister of Cartagena sits just outside the walls of the city. Smaller streets, more preserved colour and, depending where you go, better prices for good food.
Maybe not the best place to sleep if you want to avoid the noise but certainly a place to wander, eat and drink.
Some hidden places for lunch only, like Mama Nilma, a place you can easily miss from outside but with great and cheap options for menu del dia with soup, main course and juice and it's own hot sauce presented in an old wine bottle.
Charming streets full of colour.
Struggling to upload more photos. Will try again later.
A stop in El Librador where they take their coffee seriously and an evening drink near the central square of Getsemani confirmed that this is a beautiful part of the world and you should not let the shouting of some drunk tourists or the unsuccessful effort of our waitress to charge 40% charge as tip on our drinks bill to tell u otherwise.
