And as we normally do we seeked the central market to wonder. The large Bazurto market was off the city limits but a short regular bus drive. The noise, mixed with smells pleasant and unpleasant under the intense heat attacked the senses. Fruits and vegetables of all kinds interspersed with fish stalls and meat offal offerings.
Banana leaves we are sorry not be able to pick, corn maze grinding and more meat surrounding us.
And whoever turns his face on the smells and the appearance should remember that his meal ingredients in a fancy Cartagena restaurant in all probability passed some time here.
And yes a city is not a proper city without its fabric (and I don't mean what is made of) and as the shop was just accross the man marker we had to. Didn't we?
The evening nice meal to La Casa de Socorro where we tried Cazuela a sea food stew and sea bass under a sea foos sauce (both great)
was a nice conclusion to our trip in Colombia
We have enjoyed so much you journal. Bless!!!
The pics are wonderful. Lots. of love! G&R
