We are back

And after some time we are here again. Ready for new adventures entertaining old friends. Last year's trip to New Zealand was incredible but this one will compete. We are going to Vietnam but we will stop first in Hong Kong. It is not a stop over It is a destination by itself.

We are fascinated to immerse in the culture and food of those places.

Again points was our friend. Asia miles earned via HSBC card and converted to an itinerary LHR-HKG HKG-HCM (Separate miles because Cathays was not allowing a redemption for the trip with stopover and open jaw for whatever rule reason I could not understand so we booked an open jaw and a separate leg HKG-HCM) HANOI-LHR (this included).

We have to go on a Monday because the weekend had no miles seats but who complaints. Cathays business is a treat (in spite of hefty taxes surcharge due to LHR)

Preparation has not been so meticulous this time (lots of changes to the front room before Christmas, some temporary health issues, and work commitments) but we are sure we ll have a great time. Get ready Fasten your belts Here we go in just over a week
